The BSB Golf Day
The BSB Golf Day was started in 1990 with the intention of being a social event for the members of the BSB and it has proved to be very successful, with good attendance's over the years. In the early years the BSB Golf Day was held at the Aspley Guise and Woburn Sands Golf Club near Milton Keynes but in recent years it has been held at the Belfry and played over the Brabazon course using a 'shotgun start' format, so that everyone starts and finishes at the same time.
Two trophies are competed for on the day:
The BSB Trophy, which was presented to the Society by Past Chairman Keith Shaw and is for the BSB member with the best Stableford score. The Visitors Trophy, which was presented by Past Chairman Ross Ferguson and is for the best
Stableford score by a visitor.
The 2010 BSB Golf Day took place on the Brabazon Championship Course at the Belfry on Monday 26th April and was once again very successful. Click the link below for a report on the day.
